Eggs are an item in Boing Boing Animals that hatch Baby Slimes.

Accessing

Eggs are always available in the store rotation as the first item. If there is space in the home, eggs will be sent there. If there is no space in the home, eggs will be sent to a box.

Behavior

In the home, eggs will stay in place and bounce up and down. Unlike slimes, they cannot be fed or bathed. They will spawn a heart speech bubble every 5-15 seconds. Each time an egg is interacted with through the heart bubble, its growth EXP will increase by roughly 33%.

Descriptions

The descriptions for an egg in the info card change based on how many times an egg has been interacted with.

  • No interaction - "Cute little slime egg. Wonder which slime it holds within."
  • Love 1 time - "Egg activity has increased. It still needs a little more time."
  • Love 2 times - "Egg has started to make sounds. Love it a little more and it might hatch...!"
  • Love 3 times (Preparing for growth) - "Egg is about to hatch! Let's go meet our new slime."

Special Eggs

Special Eggs are eggs that sometimes appear in the store stock rotation and guarantee a slime with a certain amount of special abilities. Unlike regular eggs, they cost coins or jewels. Their prices are listed below. Only 1-star or 2-star guaranteed eggs are available in the store, but 3-star to 6-star eggs can be always be purchased for real-life currency.
