Boing Boing Animals Wiki:Translations
This page is about translation projects for the Official Boing Boing Animals Wiki. When translating into a new language for the wiki, it begins as a translation project on the English wiki. Once the translation project is sufficiently complete, it gets moved into a separate wiki. More information on translating pages can be found at Translation guidelines.
Boing Boing Animals currently supports the following languages:
- Korean
- English
- Japanese
- Chinese (simplified)
- Chinese (traditional)
- Portuguese (Brazil)
Translations of the supported languages in-game are needed, but translations of any language are encouraged.
Process
Editors can create a translation for a page by creating a new page with the same title and adding the language code at the end. For example, Food would be called Food/es. A full list of language codes can be found in the MediaWiki source code.
Translations must be categorized with <language code> translation. For example, Food/es would be categorized into [[Category:ES translation]]
